TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE “CARD & SAVE” SCHEME
1. All cardholders of cards issued by Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd (the “Bank”) are eligible to participate in the “Card & Save” scheme. Under the scheme all cardholders of such cards (the “Marfin Laiki Bank Cards”) are entitled to a discount in respect of goods and services of participating merchants as indicated from time to time on the website
www.cardandsave.com.cy, when paying with a Marfin Laiki Bank Card.
2. The participating merchants and the discount percentage offered from time to time appears on the website
www.cardandsave.com.cy under each merchant’s section. The discount percentage offered is valid only during the period mentioned in the relevant merchant’s section.
3. To obtain the discount at participating restaurants, the cardholder must state at the time of reservation and prior to the issue of the bill that payment will be made with a Marfin Laiki Bank Card. If the cardholder fails to do so, the restaurant has the right to deny granting the discount.
4. To obtain the discount in respect of hotel accommodation at participating hotels, the cardholder must state at the time of reservation and at check-in that the payment will be made with a Marfin Laiki Bank card under the “Card & Save” scheme. Reservations must be made directly with the hotel and are subject to availability and the specific terms and conditions of participating hotels. The discount is available only for reservations on a bed & breakfast basis, unless stated otherwise in the participating hotel’s section on
www.cardandsave.com.cy. Cardholders are solely liable for any cancellation fees incurred with respect to a reservation.
5. The discounts offered under the “Card & Save” scheme shall not be applied to applicable taxes, service charges and gratuities.
6. The discounts offered under the “Card & Save” scheme are not available during sale periods, and are not applicable to or in combination with other discounts or special offers or promotions independent of the “Card & Save” scheme or any other special price deals that may be agreed between the cardholder and a participating merchant (for example special prices for conferences, parties etc.).
7. Redemption of points or vouchers under any other schemes offered by the Bank cannot be combined with discounts under the “Card & Save” scheme.
8. The discounts offered under the “Card & Save” scheme cannot be redeemed for cash.
9. The Bank is not liable for the correctness or completeness of the information in respect of the discounts / benefits offered by participating merchants and the descriptions of the goods and services supplied by participating merchants which may be displayed on the website
www.cardandsave.com.cy and/or included in any promotional material relating to the “Card & Save” scheme from time to time and/or if any goods or services offered by any participating merchant become unavailable.
11. The Bank does not guarantee, endorse or make any representations in respect of any goods or services that may be purchased from any participating merchants.
12. Cardholders should make any complaints they might have about any goods or services to the merchant supplying the relevant goods or services.
13. The Bank shall not be liable for any death, injury, loss or damage to any person or to any property arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, receipt, possession, use or misuse of any good or service that may be purchased from and/or supplied by any participating merchants.
14. The Bank reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and/or to amend and/or suspend and/or terminate part of or the entire “Card & Save” scheme at any time and without any notice.
15. The Bank’s failure to enforce a particular term or condition of these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of the term or condition by the Bank.
16. A cardholder who presents and/or uses any Card to pay for any goods or services provided by any merchant participating in the “Card & Save” scheme and/or to obtain and/or benefit of any discount and/or benefit under the scheme is deemed to have fully and unconditionally accepted these terms and conditions.
17. These terms and conditions are governed by Cyprus law.
